23 years after Hillsborough, the fight goes on for truth and justice for the
96 victims, their families and fellow supporters.

The families have faced the hardest road imaginable. What has sustained them
in the darkest times is the support and solidarity of football supporters
everywhere, and the determination of many in Liverpool that their loved-ones
will not be forgotten.

The Hillsborough-Anfield Run will again link the cities of Sheffield and
Liverpool in remembrance of those who died and appreciation of those who
tried to help. The incredible personal sacrifice from those taking part in
the run will help keep Hillsborough at the front of people’s minds at a
crucial moment.

There is now some cause for hope that the full truth will finally be told
about one of the greatest injustices in this country in the 20th century.
But, until then, the fight goes on and I hope people will support this
important cause.

Hi. I am a Sunderland fan,but i grew up in Mansfield,NOTTS (parents from Durham). I know quite a few people who were at Hillsborough, from both sets of fans. Most people want justice, from all over the country, and we know that South Yorkshire police must accept their share of the blame. I hope that you are for real,Mr Burnham, because us ordinary football fans want a satisfactory conclusion to this long running saga. i was playing amateur football on that day,and i was mortified as the facts unfolding were getting more grave,i am just glad that i was not there that day,as many of my friends were. Please, bust a gut for this cause. Yours sincerely,
    Ray Forster.
